I don't have a gun permit or license, can I still go there to shoot?

Yes. We are open to all law-abiding citizens. You must be at least 18, or accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 21. Everyone who is 18 or older must present government-issued photo ID to go onto the range.

I am not a TX resident. Can I still shoot there?

Yes, so long as you meet the age and ID requirements.

May pregnant women come to training?

For the safety of mother and child, we do not recommend women who are pregnant attend our classes. Also, breast feeding mothers should stay away, too.

May I rent a gun from you to take home?

Not today Taliban! Our rental guns are only for use on our range. You may not take them.

May I bring my own guns to shoot there?

Yes. But no fully automatic weapons, bazookas, or sharks with freakin laser beams on top of their heads. All weapons should be fully functional and tested before you show up.

May I bring my own ammunition to shoot there?

Yes, but only to shoot in your own guns, subject to certain restrictions. You must purchase our range ammunition to shoot in our rental guns.

What restrictions do you have on ammunition shot there?

Armor-piercing, tracer, and incendiary ammunition is strictly prohibited. If in doubt about your specific gun/ammo combination, ask an firearms instructor before shooting.

Does Zach dye his hair?

No, his journey toward grandpa hair began at the ripe age of 18 but he prefers the term "natural highlights".

Can I bring my AR-15/AK style rifle/pistol?

Yes. But please nothing with the ghost bullet button that fires 1000 rounds a second with 100 magazine clips. Those are just too scary.

How old must you be to buy ammunition?

Under the Gun Control Act (GCA), shotguns and rifles, and ammunition for shotguns or rifles may be sold only to individuals 18 years of age or older. All firearms other than shotguns and rifles, and all ammunition other than ammunition for shotguns or rifles may be sold only to individuals 21 years of age or older. Licensees are bound by the minimum age requirements established by the GCA regardless of State or local law. However, if State law or local ordinances establish a higher minimum age for the purchase or disposition of firearms, the licensee must observe the higher age requirement.

May I bring my own targets to shoot there?

Yes, if you have a special target you want to shoot you can, but we provide targets that coincide with our shooting drills.

May I draw from a holster?

Depends. Holsters are not allowed in our Introduction to Pistol (Cutting Teeth) Class. However, holsters are allowed in our intermediate and advanced classes provided that you do so in a safe and controlled manner. If you sweep your gun's muzzle across another person or yourself while drawing, you are not safely drawing from the holster will be asked to place your weapon on the platform we provide. Safety is key! If you are attending our Sharpened Claws Pistol Course, bring your holster as learning the draw is part of the course.

Do you have a rule against “rapid fire”?

You may shoot as quickly as you can while remaining accurate and safe. Unless it's an advanced class, most of our drills are not time sensitive.

How old do children have to be to shoot on your range?

12 or older, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Do you give law enforcement and active military discounts?

No. As you will see, we are priced well below the market for the purpose of reaching as many people as possible.

May I bring my camera?

Hell yes, but you may only photograph members of your party. If you want to take photos of other people you need their consent.

How do I get a free shirt?

If you can draw a pistol without shooting yourself or anyone around you and beat Grant in a 10m shot on steel, you have earned a free "I beat Grant Meek" shirt. To this date, we have yet to even need to order them...
